About this opportunity
This project proposes the establishment of a fully integrated organic Ceylon cinnamon plantation and value-added processing company in Sri Lanka.
The development will combine approximately 25 acres of commercial cinnamon cultivation with a modern processing, packaging and farmer-collection centre. The company will control the complete value chain—from planting and cultivation to harvesting, peeling, drying, grading, powder production, packaging and export.
The primary target markets will be Germany, the European Union and selected international markets. Products will be supplied to organic-food companies, spice importers, retailers, food manufacturers and private-label partners.
The processing centre will also purchase suitable cinnamon from selected contract farmers. This will provide the factory with additional raw material and enable commercial production before the project’s own plantation reaches maturity.

The Investment Opportunity
Ceylon cinnamon, botanically known as Cinnamomum verum, is indigenous to Sri Lanka and internationally recognised as true cinnamon.
The project will create an export-oriented cinnamon business built around three connected activities:
Establishing and managing the company’s own organic cinnamon estate
Collecting and processing cinnamon from qualified contract farmers
Producing high-value bulk, retail and private-label cinnamon products
The company’s own plantation will provide traceability and long-term raw-material security. The contract-farmer model will increase factory utilisation, expand production capacity and create income before the new estate reaches full maturity.
